De kruidenboter is ongebruikt gebleven. De garnalen waren in solden bij de Digros voor € 3.

Chips, cheese curds and gravy. A traditional Quebec dish. The hot chips and gravy are suppose to melt the cheese a bit. I thought it was a bit bland. It filled the stomach though. The drink is a diet Pepsi (to cut down on those calories ;-) )

Cheese and port. The cheese was nothing spectacular. The port was nice though.

at my friendly Chinese restaurant. The food is more Dutch-Chinese then Chinese.

Chicken, mushrooms, pumpkin and rice. Salad with lentels and salmon Chocolate parfait. The chocolate parfait was the best.

I went to Eindhoven University today, to have a meeting with some colleagues. It used to take 90 minutes by train to travel from Leiden to Eindhoven, but now, due to progress, it takes 2 hours. The train journey is pleasurable enough though, to Eindhoven I travelled in former German train carriages. You can adjust the heating and ventilation, although adjusting the lever or knob produces no result whatsoever. The German train carriages still have compartments, which is more train-like I think.

Somehow I resent the use of laughing pigs as advertisement for butchers.

Het ziet er uit als een hondekoekje. Het brood is slap en naar, de vulling heeft de structuur van kleine hondebrokken. Niet echt pittig en bovendien heel snel op. Niet echt een aanrader. Deze snack is een 4.
