German car manufacturing is in decline, the Germans closed their nuclear reactors and gas from Russia is no longer available, so that energy is very expensive. Also the EU green policies, which bans the selling of petrol or diesel-powered cars in 2035, while nobody wants electric cars makes it very difficult for car manufacturers.
