444th dIes natalis of Leiden University

444th dIes natalis of Leiden University
The birthday of the university is on February 8 and a procession of professors walks from the Academy Building to the St Peter’s Church for several lectures and sometimes to bestow honourary doctorates. St Peter’s Church is where the university was founded in 1575.
