Royal Gouda Machine Yarn Spinning Work Ltd.

The company was founded in 1861 as a merger of five small companies. New buildings were added until 1917. It acquired the predicate “royal” in 1961. After the 1960s it went downhill. The company moved out in 1981. The building was rebuilt on the inside to become a cultural centre.
