"I believe, the Nasties were still booming us led by Madolf Heatlump (who only had one)."
Now that is a blast from the past ;¬)
A group of us used to hitch up to Liverpool in the early sixties for the music that later was dubbed 'The Mersey Sound', we used to go to the Iron Door, The Cavern etc to watch bands that later became famous, and some that did not.
Saw the Beatles (don't think they were called that exactly but can't remember lol), Johnny Kidd and the Pirates, The Merseybeats (later the Merseys I think), Swinging Blue Jeans, The Four Pennies, and many others I can't recall.
A great time, but I was always shattered when I went to work next day because we were travelling most of the night in an old transit van to get there, boring old man reminiscing again ;¬)
Nowadays you can just watch it on the internet, so you don't have to travel anymore ;-)))
