Indeed, it has been for centuries.

I have always been fascinated by Falconry and Hawking, and at one time when we lived in Staffordshire studied the matter in depth with a view to keeping raptors, but sadly the cost was beyond my means.

If you have a Falcon, you save money by not having to go to the butcher anymore. Perhaps you can also train it to "catch" vegetables.
