The MIFA bike factory was founded in 1907. It was an important bike factory in the GDR and after reunification it became a successful private company.

MIFA is short for Mitteldeutsche Fahrradwerke (Central German Bike Works).

Prima, noch mit Original-Dynamo aus dem VEB Fahrzeugelektrik Ruhla. Erkennbar an dem Keramik-Dynamo-Rädchen. In der Endphase der DDR waren die ja dann aus Plastik.
