I was a bit surprised that I didn't have to pay toll and I was thinking you might have taken the wrong bridge all the time, but then I found out that the toll charge was in one direction only.

I have been known to come back via Gloucester and cross the Severn there, but it is such a drag getting round the city you probably spend as much on petrol as on the toll ... can't win!
