A showing of Jud Süß in Tuschinski Theatre in Amsterdam

For the first time since 1945 the movie Jud Süß was shown in Tuschinski theatre in Amsterdam. The copyright holder stipulates that the movie can only be seen in the context of a debate. The name of the movie cannot be advertised.

Interesting movie, very well made, less crude than The Battleship Potemkin. Excellent performance of Ferdinand Marian as Jud Süß. In 1946 Marian died in a car accident.
