Smoking zone on one of the platforms of Amsterdam Central Station

You're only allowed to smoke on platforms close to these smoking poles. You might think everything is solved now – smokers can smoke and the people who don't like smoke can breath freely – but for some reason these smoking poles smell horrendous, even when there are no smokers about, so we are in fact worse off.
