Baby Holly Tree

Saturday Self-Challenge: Tree
This week was a challenge, considering I didn't have leaves or blossoms on any of the deciduous trees in my area yet. I have evergreens but they were hard to photograph in an interesting way. I didn't have "golden hour", either. I did take an image of a stand of white pines lining my back yard, but didn't care for it. Then my husband showed me several holly tree sprouts pushing up out of the ground in our front yard. So, I took the healthiest-looking of the lot and photographed it as best I could (looks best enlarged on black).
Have a wonderful weekend, my friends! Pam, I hope you are starting to see blooms on the trees by now!

Have a nice Sunday.
This is such a great idea. I love it. Each year there are so many baby trees born. How nice to showcase it here. :)
I like your idea and your wonderful photo very much, Valerie
