Antique lace trim that was hand tatted. This image was processed using PicMonkey's infrared effect. I was quite pleased that it accentuated all the fine detail of this amazing creation. The original image is in the note.

Beautiful lace and a lot of work - I don't know the tatting technique but I made quite a few crochet laces and with this fine yarn it's a challenge! Like also the colors in the original!

Nice to have it on black ... makes the presentation so dramatic Val. Like the focus to show the intricate detail of the lace. Vintage lace/linen workmanship has such a warmth to it ... you can almost feel the energy that flowed from the hands of the one working on it through when you touch it. :)
