Little Free Libraries

Early in the morning, if it's a sunny day, the sun hits the red side of my Little Free Library (the lighthouse side is on the back, which hardly ever gets direct sun). I'm also posting this because I don't think I've posted a full-length photo, to show how we "planted" it in a metal tub, with basil and roses.

Made during an art-on-demand fundraiser in Palos Verdes today. Folks paid $10 for 12x12 panel, then got to tell us what they wanted on it. When we didn't have a "commission," we were supposed to keep painting anyway, so this is one of the things I made between commissions.

My daughter and her friend ended up being the enthusiastic dogwalkers for one of the volunteers. Addison and Regan are the dogs. ;)

Took this photo so I'd remember how to use the pieces they gave me for mounting my library on a post.

All the library pieces were primed before assembly.
