For Zoe Toft's International Edible Books Festival 2013: www.playingbythebook.net/international-edible-book-festiv... We restaged the cover of "The Secret Life of Bees," a book my daughter was assigned at school this year (7th grade). The "honey" is actually honey-lemon iced tea; the bees are made from raisins, jellybeans, licorice, and sliced almonds, all skewered with toothpicks and balanced on drinking straws.

For Lisa C.'s "A Month of Hands" project. Taken at Manhattan Beach Public Library, in the knitting/crocheting section, on Saturday the 18th.

I was on the editorial board for this reference work, and wrote about 25 entries for it, and compiled a lot of the timeline dates, and the "common quotes" feature too. Really great to finally see it in print!

Made during an art-on-demand fundraiser in Palos Verdes today. Folks paid $10 for 12x12 panel, then got to tell us what they wanted on it. When we didn't have a "commission," we were supposed to keep painting anyway, so this is one of the things I made between commissions.
