Nicely composed, but would benefit from removal of that branch in the north-west corner.

Having a nicer foreground, this is perhaps the better of the two shots taken on that same stretch of canal:

No, I prefer the top one, which looks more natural and better composed.
Even better with that branch now removed.

I've made the foreground more interesting, so although neither shot is a great masterpiece, the two are IMHO of similar merit, looking natural or otherwise to me being unimportant.
