I searched Westlington on the map and found it but Google Maps (always worse than useless) name the Severn Stars pub, deign to name the High Street but fail to name the village. It looks a fine village, especially in your hands and is worthy of better than Google gives it!

Thanks. Yes, I had the same problem with some map site or other. Having located it, I went on a long detour en route to Oxford to get a different shot (of thatched cottages round a green) in another part of the village which I'd seen on Flickr, but everything was against my getting that one. I might try again one day.
