Stagecoach, Farlington - 14 June 2020

Bus depots can be quite fascinating. They are, of course, of routine interest to the mainstream enthusiast but for someone who has many interests and, therefore, many things to photograph, it is the unusual which catches the eye. This depot has a Routemaster tucked away in this line up (not visible here) but my curiosity was aroused also by the purple skirt on the Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Dart in the foreground. Registered HX03CZY, it used to be operated by University of Portsmouth. I understand from an exchange elsewhere on Flickr that the vehicle was never in Stagecoach stock but here it is now in the Stagecoach Farlington depot.
