An Embraer 175 of Alaska Airlines climbs away from runway 31L at Palm Springs on an early morning departure.

I was in Cathedral City for the Day 1 launch of the 2019 Balloon Festival. The PSP departures viewed against the mountain backdrop made irresistible shots but pushed the camera very hard.
