G-MCGN at Solent Airport - 8 November 2018
The Coastguard helicopters are an important part of everyday life at Solent Airport and a large number of the relatively recent AW189 type cycle through the base there. They are much photographed so in an attempt to stay fresh I have intentionally included in this shot the Cherokee on base leg for 23. G-MCGN is approaching into a brisk southerly wind reported as 170/14 knots.
