A View With Room (for now) - 14 April 2018

This view across Leicester Square, facing south, will be very different in two years time. The cranes mark a construction site where the Odeon West End and other buildings once stood. There will be two Odeons and event and leisure facilities in the six storey basement of the Leicester Square Hotel which will rise on this spot a further eight storeys. It is due to open in 2020. On the right of this picture is part of Communications House/LSQ London. The morning light is falling on the blackbird frieze I referred to in my notes on an earlier photograph.
