Two Prowed? - 29 May 2013
Seize the moment. In this planned shot, I have attempted to ask questions about the integration of Amsterdam's maritime heritage into its modern architecture. As the fuel barge 'Atlantis' navigated the Ij past the punnily named Eye film institute in Amsterdam Noord, it appeared that the striking design of that building is intended to emulate the prows of passing vessels.
