Sunset Denied

Great pity, but a good shot nevertheless!

Those are pretty frightening clouds.

Belle et étonnante prise de vue**************

Das schaut auch spannend aus mit dieser Stimmung lieber Don :))

Wünsche noch einen schönen Nachmittag, liebe Grüße Güni :))

Wunderbar!

Looks ominous.

Mais un coucher de soleil. ☀‿☀️

I think this image is really beautiful Don. I love the light and colour in the sky and the clouds add some atmosphere..........giving the scene an almost ethereal ambience..!!

Evil clouds! ;)

Jokes aside, Don, I think the atmosphere created by those wispy clouds is gorgeous.

For those wondering what followed, the clouds brought drizzle/fog for several hours. Afterward, some strong thunderstorms moved through.

This is a master piece, Don!

Un caprice de la nature bienvenu pour l'image !
Bonne journée Don.

beautiful!

A very attractive mood picture here. Well done for seeing and capturing this scene.

Beautiful

Les nuages donnent un relief intéressant .

Ein sehr eindrucksvolles Wolkenszenario

It looks as though there's also some rain. A great weather shot.

Very atmospheric image and that is typical of Mother nature sometimes she just doesn't want to play ball

Impressive capture of this beautiful sunset.

Magnifique prise !

Beautiful light and clouds, Don't

Thanks for your many visits and k8nd comments.

Have a good day

Fantástico cielo.

C'est voilé mais beau j'aime ******************bonne soirée Don !

beautifully threatening and mysterious !

Great shot!

In my opinion, the risk with photographing sunsets and sunrises is that the result can be dull and unsalted, even though these are moments of sublime beauty. I’m not referring specifically to your work; I include myself in this observation too. Here, you’ve found an interesting and dynamic solution: not the usual round disc skimming the sea, but a more dreamlike and turbulent vision. I like it!

Wonderful atmosphere,Don!

Best wishes
Füsun

Interesting weather and a nice shot of a storm front Don
