Hauptsache, es blüht schön! Und einen lemon tree hatte ich ja schon in Kalifornien, da darf's hier dann auch mal was anderes sein ;-))

I don't know this tree at all, but it makes a lovely image.

I learned today (see comments above) that it's a Judas tree. It's native to Southern Europe and Western Asia. So it's an immigrant to Germany, but the Rhine Valley (where I live) is known to have almost Mediterranean climate :-)

Die App "Flora Incognita" ist wirklich zu empfehlen, Edna!
Ich habe dein Foto von meinem PC-Monitor mit der Smartphone-App gescannt und sie hat geantwortet: "Gewöhnlicher Judasbaum".
Einige meiner letzten Aufnahmen konnte ich auf diese Weise - also live in der Natur - bestimmen lassen.

Ha ja! Die wollte ich ja schon vor einiger zeit installieren und bin dann immer wieder abgelenkt worden!! Toll, dass es sogar auch beim pc-monitor funktioniert. Na, da werde ich ja in kürze jedem botaniker konkurrenz machen können ;-))

aber trotzdem gut - mehr Wald als Stadt ;-)

Ich wusste zwar beim fotografieren nicht, was das für ein baum sein könnte, aber dass es kein zitronenbaum war, war mir klar. Letzteren hatte ich nämlich in meinem garten in Sacramento und jener baum sah ganz anders aus ;-)

Nun ja...kommt drauf an, wo man sich in der stadt befindet. Manchmal ist da wirklich mehr wald als stadt ;-))

Ganz egal, wie dieser Baum heißt - er sieht wirklich wunderschön aus, besonders vor dem blauen Himmel!

Er heisst tatsächlich Judasbaum. So haben es hier einige angemerkt und meine pflanzen app sagt das auch (die habe ich allerdings erst nach dem hochladen dieses baumes installiert) ;-)

Freut mich, dass es dir gefällt, Wiebke. Ich fand die kombination von baum und sommerblauem himmel auch ganz zauberhaft...und da musste das foto natürlich gemacht werden :-)
