Very nice bright and colourful picture, but why is everybody holding the flag of Türkiye?
I have never seen so many in one place outside of Türkiye!
Best wishes, Happy Monday, and keep safe
Peter
Note that the Turkish communities in countries like Germany and Belgium are both large and highly politicized. Even third- or fourth-generation immigrants born in Europe can retain Turkish citizenship alongside their European nationality, giving them the right to vote in Turkish elections and remain politically engaged in Turkey. Therefore there are regularly demonstrations of this kind.
