As one of the Coastguard's Search and Rescue (SAR) aircraft in the UK, Sikorski helicopter G-MCGE is primarily tasked with life-saving missions over the North Sea, the UK coastline, and inland areas. Its heavy-lift capabilities and specialized medical equipment make it perfectly suited for extreme weather rescues, winching operations, and maritime emergencies. Rather strange that its landing gear was still down.
