A fantastic portrait, you have caught his personality really well! I can imagine him standing on a soap box holding forth....

Many thanks Gudrun, normally he doesn't speak and he never answers when I say hello so I was surprised that I even asked him for a pic and surprised he said yes!

Such a lovely portrait James.........and well worth having to listen to a sermon in return. He looks very characterful and I suspect he would have a few tales to tell.

I like that his eyes are almost closed under the rim of the hat.......it adds a bit of mystery. Black and white was the right way to go I think..!!

Usually he never speaks when I say hello and I don't usually see him with other people, he quite often sits at the bay with a little note pad writing things down.
I amazed myself for asking for a pic as I just don't do things like that but I though he had an interesting face, nothing ventured nothing gained.
So pleased you like this.
