Wagenborg Barge 11

The 'Wagenborg Barge 11' carrying four very long pipes being towed into Sunderland. As can be seen in the picture, the barge showed a moderate list to starboard. It struck me as slightly odd that the pipes were not evenly distributed rather than having three on this side.
I think this may have also been the reason it took two attempts to get the barge into Sunderland, with the first abandoned after much discussion on the bow of the barge. On the second attempt, it was successfully moored at the Corporation Quay.
PIP #1: The entire flotilla of the Carlo Martello, barge, two tugs and the PV Heron.
PIP #2: The barge in the Wear channel.
PIP #3: The barge is manoeuvred from the Corporation Quay back out to sea the following morning.
