Ich finde Pilze superinteressant. In diesem Fall produziert ein winteraktiver Pilz im Totholz Gase, die das im Holz vorhandene leicht unterkühlte Wasser an die Oberfläche verdrängt. Mit den richtigen Randbedingungen gefriert es dann zu diesen schönen Gebilden.
