For all those who are interested in the photographic technique, I would like to give a few details: the picture shown actually requires 3 shots, 2 of them before you start with the ‘mess’ :D
- a picture of the clean glass in the same holder as the main shot
- a picture of the base of the glass
Here at the back the 2 pictures + the original picture.
It goes without saying that in addition to the preparatory work, a lot of post-processing work is also necessary to achieve the result shown :D

Okay - you gave part of it away - but how do you get the liquid to be so great? Did the holder spring forward? You must have worked hard not only in processing but in getting liquid that looked that good.

I would like to thank you for your excellent description of the process, Jean-Paul. I hope it serves as a source of inspiration for some of us, or even for people outside our community — despite or perhaps because of the “mess”. :))

I can say something about it, but there is a lot of technology involved and it cannot be repeated so easily, but my description will help to understand.
The device on which the glass is mounted is equipped with a spring device and can be pulled downwards. When it springs up again, the movement is abruptly interrupted by the wire rope (see photo): this abrupt stop causes the liquid to spill out of the glass. The camera is connected to a trigger (shutter release) app and shoots when the device bangs against the stop (the bang is the trigger). You can enter a shutter delay in the app, and you have to fine-tune it until the result is optimal.
And you can believe me one thing: it takes many attempts to get a good result: so you will make a pretty big mess :D
One more thing: this would not have been possible without the help of tinkerer and photo friend FG and some of his buddies.

Schaffen wir, Kaufen jeder 2 Stiegen Wein in HH, Frank wirft sie in HH Schanzenviertel gegen ein Wand. Wir knipsen und Tanja ruft heimlich die Polimanzei :-))
