A delightful image. Wish I had been there as it's my kind of place. How wonderful that it has made a return. Perhaps partly because of help from the beavers.

I live next to a suburb called 'Beaverton' which always used to have a lot of beavers. Now there are some, but not as many. I did finally come across trees along a stream in Beaverton that had been cut down by beavers, so I know they are still around!

And a perfect tribute to ipernity on World Photography Day, something that almost disappeared but made comeback!

Is this a place near where you live? Do you photograph it often?

1 km as the crow flies.

But i don't take photos there very often.
It was more of a spur-of-the-moment shot, I had to work and it's more or less on the way home.
I had brought the Panasonic GH4 with me especially for that day.

I think I'll go on a 'Ammer safari' soon.

Greetings from the Ammer Valley to Beaverton.

I'm glad our event inspired you to take along your Panasonic! And it will be interesting to see photos from your 'Ammer safari'!

If you end up in my area ever, I could take you and yours to some beautiful forests in and near Portland.

fyi - I know my official position on maps etc, says Beaverton as my location, but Beaverton is a suburb of Portland - and I am on the edge. My address is Portland, our school district is Portland (and my city services are Beaverton). I stand by my address of Portland! It's just a standing silly joke between Beaverton and Portland. One has to pick one or the other as a favorite.
It just occurred to me that I grew up also on the border of Portland and another suburb. Guess I like being an in-between kind of person *smile*
