jedes Jahr konnte der Salat nur mit Schneckenkorn gerettet werde - jetzt wächst der Salat in 1m Höhe im Kasten - ich wollte kein Schneckenkorn mehr benutzen -
ĉiujare la laktuko povus esti konservita nur per ŝlimaj buletoj - nun la laktuko kreskas je alteco de 1m en la skatolo - mi ne plu volis uzi ŝlimajn buletojn

I hope you are lucky with them, but watch for snails they will climb that high. A copper band around the container is supposed to work although I haven't tried it, their slime reacts with the copper to give them a shock so they don't cross it

Buena idea, mi consuegro tiene unos cajones de buena madera, elevados del suelo, con lo que, además de evitar babosa, también dobla menos la cintura; los cajones son largos y estrechos, entre cajón y cajón tiene una separación para pasar sin tener que dar mucha vuelta. Para consumo de casa, estupendo.
