We heard a short time back that most of our countries canal system were closed to traffic as the top-up reservoirs were almost all empty. Our Saddleworth canals are still fairly full but I imagine its only a matter of time before they too are like this. - A sorry sight here but well photographed Gordon.

Wow! I hadn't realised the state of the canals in that part of the country were that bad...............that's going to have a disastrous effect on both the wildlife and landscape around the canal...........and of course, those who's living depends on the canal and the business it brings.

Nevertheless, this is a beautiful capture TOZ...........nicely done sir!
