Bamburgh Castle

Bamburgh Castle
Bamburgh Castle, on the northeast coast of England, by the village of Bamburgh in Northumberland, is a Grade I listed building. The site was originally the location of a Celtic Brittonic fort known as Din Guarie and may have been the capital of the kingdom of Bernicia from its foundation c. 420 to 547.

A beautiful castle, sitting in lovely surroundings...........with what seems like a fascinating history. It really dominates the skyline.

You've captured it in lovely light and super detail TOZ. I love the sky and the earthy colours and textures in the foreground.

Top notch work sir!

Another fabulous shot of Bamburgh Castle TOZ. The lovely long stretch of beach draws your eye to the castle. Lovely colours and composition. Beautiful. I wish we had found this sweet spot when we visited.
