This is an annoying problem that hopefully will be fixed soon.

It's an annoying problem that has been going on for quite some time, unfortunately. "Soon" is a relative term. (I'm not blaming anyone or anything with that comment. These computery IT things are WAY above my level of expertise. I can turn the thing on, but that's about it.)

Thank you Fred, for highlighting this intolerable irritation. I too have endured whole days - and sometimes consecutive days - of this ‘Bad Gateway’ problem. Refreshing the page often makes it go away (but not always) and then I experience long waits for the page I want to appear. Often it hangs so long that I give up. This problem has gone on for several weeks. It is spoiling the whole experience of ipernity. If the site is not properly available, it is not a site. Everybody knows what happens when customers become disillusioned and angry. And who knows how many potential new members have been put off? Make no mistake, if this doesn’t get fixed very soon it will be the end of ipernity.

I was getting this error code yesterday evening and again this morning. At the moment IP is slow but workable.

It's still annoying though..........but I'm sure the Team are on it..!!

I still think The Limbo Connection (above) makes some very valid points!

This happens to me, but luckily for not too long! Hats off to the people who are working on this.

If and when the team discover the problem and correct it, that will be the time for hats off. Being inconvenienced 'for not too long' means you should keep your hat firmly jammed on your head. There is nothing to celebrate at the moment.
