Hello Fred I'm number 6 the nearest city is Leicester, I'm about as far from the sea as you can get in the UK

! was born in Area 2 and now live in Area 6. :-)

Father was from 4 (Red rose county of Yorkshire) and Mother from 5 (White rose county of Lancashire) - Historic differences with battles fought during the 'Wars of the Roses'.

I was born in 5 (and lived there for 29 years) and have lived in 7 for 41 years - so far!

David, you have your roses the wrong way round. Shame on you! ;-)

Correct Fred.........but it's just Hampshire (without the New). Havant is very close to some beautiful countryside (the New Forest and the South Downs National Park), and some wonderful stretches of coastline.

I'm in number 11 Fred. I still have not visited every county, but would love to. I have been as far as number 2 in Scotland and 12 & 13 in Wales. Never been to Ireland.
