De Hoeve doet nu dienst als kasteel en restaurant/Hotel

Oh I just love this! The castle architecture is so pretty...but actually, my favorite part is the gorgeous, vibrant green ivy that's covering the whole thing! It's amazing and so beautiful to see. It's funny, I didn't know that ivy actually destroys the buildings that it covers because the clinging root structures pull apart the bricks and mortar...what a shame because I am crazy about the way it looks and wouldn't ever clear such ivy away, it's too lovely! :)

Wauw, die rivier moet in de jaren 1600 extreem sterk geweest zijn om bijna een heel kasteel weg te spoelen. Die klimop slikt het gebouw volledig in - ik hoop dat er geen ramen achter de klimop zijn.
