A VILLAGE SO INECCESSIBLE THAT IT HAS NEVER HEARD A CAR ENGINE. IT CAN ONLY BE REACHED BY CLIMBING STEEP PATHS OR BY A MODERN FUNICULAR AFTER A 2-KM ASCENT. THE RED VEHICLE HAS BEEN TRANSPORTED BY HELICOPTER.
THE NUMEROUS SURROUNDING CAVES PRODUCE ONE OF THE MOST INTENSELY FLAVORED CHEESES YOU'VE EVER TASTED.

Wichtigstes und überregional bekanntes Produkt ist der Cabrales, ein Blauschimmel-Mischkäse aus Kuh-, Schafs- und Ziegenmilch.

It seems like a perfect place for a getaway break Anton. This is a beautifully composed image and the landscape looks fantastic. I especially like the distant peak and the low-flying clouds. The red roofed buildings are very pretty and I love the little bridge and the surrounding trees.

It is a lovely photo of this isolated village, Anton…I really enjoy the information you give too. That is why the place is still so charming….no cars can access. It keeps a place really unique when easy access is not possible. That I have found on some of our remote wanderings. I would love to spend some time here. Happy Sunday to you.
