L. L. Wall club has replied to Andrea Riberti clubThis glacier terminates in a lake, not visible in this shot, which formed in 1929, according to Wikipedia. The glacier has retreated 3km since 1929 ... but looking at satellite and internet photos, it doesn't look like much loss since 2006 when the shot was taken. Intuitively though, one would expect global warming/"climate change" will really impact continental glaciers. Real catastrophic ice loss has occurred in Glacier Bay National Park, but that collapse started in 1900, so that pre-dates the current situation. (Trump said a couple years ago that there was no global warming, so maybe he can reverse environmental change just by tweeting about it.)
Best Regards, Wally
