in Dutch we call this way of hairdressing "knot", while for the rope knots we use "knoop"
Stevia club has replied to PhLB - Luc Boonen clubthese hairdressing knots are officially called "hairknots" with us. Colloquially, however, one also says "knots" for it. Of course, the rope knots are also called knots here. But there are also pastries here (from yeast dough or as lye pastry), which is called knots. The world is full of knots! ;-)

Ehrlich gesagt, mußte ich in der vergangenen Woche daran denken, dass du möglicherweise den gleichen Gedanken haben könntest und ebenfalls solch einen Gebäckknoten hochladen wirst, da du ihn ja auch hier aus dem Ländle kennst. ;-)
Das dieser Gebäckknoten auch "Ulmer Spatz" genannt wird, wußte ich bisher jedoch noch gar nicht. Interessant!
