I like this race though I wouldn't dare to get to close to them. They are really curous and - from behind the fence - they seem to be harmless. When we met them for the first time they seemed fascinated by our dog and Nora didn't show any fear. Normally she doesn't like cows and tries to avoid them.

Dabei wirken sie eigentlich recht ruhig. Dagegen hatte ich, als ich einer Herde Schwarzbunter an einem dünnen Elektrozaun gegenüber stand. Angst, dass sie den Zaun überrennen. Bei den Roten hatte ich das eigentlich nie.

Danke, leider fehlt bei der Herde in diesem Jahr der Bulle. Vielleicht erscheint es dem Bauern zu gefährlich ihn auf die Weide zu lassen..
