The owl (UYLTJE)Bar, Varkensmarkt (pigs square)

My mother-in-law Jifke was born in Gorinchen, as a child she traveled to Indonesia with her family where they were taken prisoner by the Japanese in WWII.
Back in Holland, she went to live in her grandmother's house at number 19 Varkensmakrt. (PIP 1 and 2)
She remembers how the square was divided into cubicles for the sale of pigs.
She also remembers that her grandmother used to send her and her sisters (Gerda and Andrea) to call her grandfather who was having a drink in the bar called the Owl.
After 80 years, the number 19 of Varkenmarkt is still there, the square is still there and the bar The owl is still there, even if there are no more pigs.
