In 1979, aged 21 and for precisely 2 weeks I owned a 1972 Ducati 750. This was in the south of France and it is too a long a story to relate here as as to how I was given it. Unfortunately, just as I was working out how to get the official papers to bring it back to the UK, I crashed it on a mountain bend. I wasn't badly injured but the bike was! I have never ridden a bike since! :o(
