Piazza Trento and Trieste in Monza is the heart of the historic centre, a place historically known as "Pratum Magnum" and has always been a meeting and market point. Today it houses the War Memorial in the centre, the Town Hall on the north side and the Thursday market and other markets during the weekend.

Such a beautiful and almost deserted Piazza. I really like the light and shadows in this shot..........especially the light catching the war memorial and the cyclist. The blue sky (and contrails) look lovely.
