Punta Delgada lighthouse

Punta Delgada lighthouse
Punta Delgada is a locality on the Valdes Peninsula on the Atlantic Ocean. The peninsula is an important nature reserve which was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999.
Punta Delgada main attractions are a big colony of elephant seals and an active 14-metre-high lighthouse built in the 1905.

Molto interessante questo vecchio faro, ma fotograficamente parlando la mia attenzione è andata sui bei dettagli del terreno e sui colori. Curiosamente, alcune tonalità dei cespugli sembrano riprendere proprio quella del faro, il che rende la foto molto piacevole e significativa e meritevole di essere ingrandita.

Sai Fabio sono stata a lungo indecisa se pubblicare o no questa foto per via di quel cielo bianco che non creava un bel contrasto con il faro e quella incredibile vegetazione...insomma , la luce non era delle migliori...tuttavia ho deciso che trovare un vecchio faro dello stesso colore delle piante grasse del luogo non era poi così comune...e quindi eccola qui!:-)

Maybe because you went to Chilean Patagonia, Gudrun? I read it is even wilder and more incontaminate than the Argentinian...

On my first visit in 2003 we went to Trelew/ Puerto Madryn and saw sea elephants at Punta Ninfas, but we didn't go to the Peninsula. That first visit was mainly ito the Argentinean part of Patagonia but I only have dia positives from that.
