Many thanks Gudrun! I was at the bottom of the stairway,attracted by the light and by the threatening sky.

Thank you Amelia. I must confess that I focused on the Palace in many other shots. This picture is different as my intention was to capture it as a link between the earth and the sky. I was helped by the special light of that afternoon.
