Our 21st century also has many positive aspects!
To relive the past for a few hours is great... but to live every day as our ancestors lived, no thank you!! (wars, epidemics, infant mortality, lack of comfort, insecurity in all areas, etc etc etc ......).

Pittoresque avec le recul mais, je suis d'accord avec toi, c'est nettement mieux de nos jours concernant les "corvées" journalières!!!!
