Common blue female.

Common blue female.
Can anyone tell me the name of this very small butterfly, no more that a 3cm wing span? I have come up with 2 possibilities - Brown Argus or Silver Studded Blue, but not sure!!

Having looked at lots of pictures and sizes of particular butterflies, I now think this is a Common Blue female - Polyommatus icarus. So many look alike!!

Ooh, lovely shot, Rosa! Any idea what the plant is? It reminds me of dusty miller, but that's not it.
