I am thrilled that you have enjoyed these tables, sheltered by a tent under a thin and annoying November rain. They seemed quite unhappy without the customers who usually crowd them:-) You know, the little white pyramids you've spotted are imaginative packages of white napkins that were also ...waiting.

The people in Padova enjoy sitting in open air cafes in any season..but that afternoon was really too gloomy!:-)
