I remember distributing leaflets door to door from a new entrant into the thatched buildings insurance market. I was also teaching my brother to drive so we combined business with lessons over a weekend (1981 I think it was). We visited many of the villages here - most of the buildings are thatched as you now. A wonderful area. I was also aware that it was near the home of the 'Sage of Longparish.'
I wonder how many ipernity members know who that is. Probably quite a few.

I used to live in Longparish Andy in a house that had been built by Reg Presley lead singer of the Trogs which I bought of him which was not so far away from here and of course the all important River Test ~ I had to look up the Sage of Longparish :~)

I think that you could well be right Rosa, I've blown the shot up as much as I can from the original and that box window looks like it was added on sometime later than the original build. All the best ~~~ Nick
