Hi QofC it is Harry not hairy ~ I think you have taken a flight of fantasy. Harry is the most unfazed heron ever ~ He is completely wild but used to get fed by the skipper of a canal boat that moored close by & they developed a special relationship. Unfortunately he died a couple of years ago and the canal boat has gone too. So now Harry is completely on his own two feet again fishing all day long. Hugs & warm wishes ~ Nick

So now we have an Harry here. There is also a blackbird named Hansi :-) Great!

Maybe we could make a film "When Harry met Hansi" :~)
